    Last night I took the microwave test lab mobile (what a complicated

    thing to do, btw).  I was able to test all the candidate antennas

    over a 100m span in an obstruction-free environment.  So now we've

    finally got comparable gain results between antennas over

    non-trivial distances which allow proper focusing of signals.  The

    details of the whole setup and the results are available at the <a

      Shootout</a> page.  I'll have to do this type of measurement again

    though, since 2 new sectors just came in, and I have 1 more on the

    way.<br>
